GSI Training Workshop for Municipalities

  • West Grove Fire Company 101 Walnut St West Grove, PA 19390 (map)

Join us for a municipal training event to learn how the recently installed West Grove Borough Rain Garden was planned, funded, and implemented to help improve the water quality of the White Clay Creek. Learn about the design, engineering, and construction processes first hand from Rutgers University, West Grove Borough Public Works Department and Staff, and the White Clay Creek watershed manager.  A brief overview of how local organizations can help your municipality implement projects that fit into your MS4 program will be provided by Brandywine Conservancy.

As of now, the live event can safely host up to 30 people following current COVID-19 recommendations. Boxed lunches will be provided to all live participants.  The event will also be broadcast live and recorded for those who cannot attend in person.

More information will be sent out to those who register closer to the event.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants thanks to a Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts grant awarded to the Chester County Conservation District on behalf of the Christina Watersheds Municipal Partnership.
