The Clean Water Act (CWA) requires states to identify waters that do not or are not expected to meet applicable water quality standards with current pollution control technologies alone. The White Clay Watershed Association collects year-round measurements of specific pollutants and submits this data to both state agencies for consideration in their Integrated Water Report.
