Ours to Enjoy ... Ours to Protect
The Education Subcommittee helps people to enjoy and protect the watershed's resources. New events are offered and printed materials are created on an on-going basis for both the public and schools. At least one presentation is usually offerred for the public each spring and fall. Click on the events page to learn about our upcoming programs as well as similar offerings by other organizations in our area.
Scholarship is sometimes available for school classes to participate in field studies on watershed topics. Small awards (up to $1000) are available to aid teachers in creating school programs designed to enhance students' appreciation and understanding of the ecology of the White Clay Creek. Contact the River Administrator for more information about these scholarships and grants.
