At the request of the Executive Subcommittee, Dr. John Jackson has graciously agreed to do a presentation on the science behind the value of reforesting watersheds up to as much as 40%. He will address the societal challenges associated with reaching such goals. This presentation will help to guide the Management Committee as we begin conducting a study on reforesting our watershed and plan future projects to utilize reforestation as a tool to address water quality and quantity issues. As always our meetings are open to the public.New Garden Township Building
Directions From Delaware: Take Rt. 41 north of Hockessin past Kaolin; turn left onto Starr Road and the township building is on your right just past the intersection with Newark Road. From Pennsylvania: Go south on Rt. 41 from Rt. 1 through Avondale and turn right at Newark Rd and then right at Starr Rd; the township building will be on your immediate right.
