The Watershed Management Committee has appointed Jennifer Egan as the second White Clay Creek River Administrator. Following in the footsteps of Linda Stapleford, Jennifer will act as a spokesperson for the Committee and will oversee implementation of a variety of special projects.  She will work to help educate the general public in understanding and appreciating the special qualities of the White Clay Creek and its watershed and will travel throughout the watershed looking for opportunities to implement the recommendations of the White Clay Creek and Its Tributaries Watershed Management Plan.

Jennifer has worked in the water resources field for 12 years.  Jennifer received her Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Geology from the University of Delaware.  For her Master's thesis, she studied the effects of dam removal on sediment transport.  Since graduating she has designed and implemented projects in the White Clay Creek and other watersheds involving watershed planning, water resource permits, stream and wetland restoration and mitigation.

The White Clay Creek watershed has been a source of enjoyment, beauty, and peace for Jennifer for several decades. She is very excited to be a part of promoting the natural values the watershed provides and to protect this gem of the Mid-Atlantic.
